Taylor Ethans

Taylor is an experienced Entrepreneur and Business Buyer with over 15 years of direct experience and dozens of successful transactions spanning across his time investment banking, private equity investing, small business buying, and start-up career. Taylor is the CEO and Founder of IAMANOWNER: Business Buying Accelerator, where he coaches clients the skills to become their own dealmakers and entrepreneurs through acquisition. In addition, Taylor is the Founder of Matlock Capital, where he acquires and manages his own portfolio of businesses, as well as providing owners acquisition and exit advice.

Previously, Taylor served as Vice President at TriWest Capital Partners, a Canadian private equity firm with ~$1.4 billion AUM, executing several acquisitions and divestitures in predominantly manufacturing, transportation, distribution, services and retail focused businesses, totaling over $1 billion in Enterprise Value.

Taylor also Co-Founded and was CFO of Decibel Cannabis Company, successfully raising over $100 million and leading the Company's public listing on the TSX Venture Exchange.

Previously he worked as an investment banker at Canada's largest bank, RBC Capital Markets, advising on dozens of M&A transactions and public equity & debt financings.
